Roses Are Red, Violet's Are Blue

I've never really been one for celebrating Valentine's Day. Long before I was in a relationship. This year will be our 3rd and at the moment we have nothing planned. This doesn't make me sad at all, though. S and I are very similar in the sense that we don't need a particular day to tell each other how we feel.

The lovely Hannah from Sew Bloom* recently sent out a tweet on Twitter asking people to get in touch who would like to review her handmade Valentine's Day cards and as I'm always on the look out for something a little different and out of the ordinary, I got in touch.

Rather than the usual soppy Valentine's Day cards you see hit the shops as soon as Christmas is over, I always like to keep a look out for something quirky. Something that'll make S smile rather than reach for a sick bucket. I mean, men celebrate Valentine's Day too yet all cards for men are way too feminine if you ask me!

Hannah very kindly sent me two of her designs which we're going to take a look at today.

Here we have Hannah's 'I Love You' handmade phonetics design and a 'Personalised Nickname' design which also includes your choice of embellishments. You can have whatever nickname or name printed on the Personalised Nickname card. Hannah says "The cringer the better!" and I agree.

Both cards are A6 and for me, that's the perfect size. They were both presented in clear display bags and posted in a 'do not bend' envelope. Ensuring your personalised card arrives in pristine condition. Hannah's thought of everything!

Both cards, I am sure you'll agree are beautifully unique. I love the simplicity of Hannah's designs and as a huge fan of shabby chic, I love that she used the brown card rather than the typical white or cream.

Hannah has a wide range of handmade personal cards and you can purchase your very own, plus both of these card designs from Hannah's Etsy shop.

Hannah has also very kindly offered my lovely readers 10% off their order if you use the code" WHOSTHATGIRL10 at checkout. So go on, what are you waiting for? Get ordering your personalised handmade Valentine's Day cards now!
