What I Got For My Birthday

Sunday, October 22, 2017

As you guys know I recently celebrated my birthday. My 27th birthday.
It's not that I don't enjoy birthdays. I love them, whether it's my own or someone else's I love getting together with my favourite people and spending some good quality time with them.

This year was a little different though in the sense that this birthday, marks 3 years until I am 30 and I don't know if I'm okay with that...

I did, however, have a lovely birthday. If you'd like to see what I got up to I blogged and vlogged about our spontaneous trip to Foxton Locks.

If you've been a reader of my blog for a few years, you'll know every year I publish a little post sharing some of the wonderful gifts I was lucky to receive on my birthday. I, personally, love these types of content whether it's a blog post or a YouTube video. Mainly because I'm nosy and I love getting ideas for gifts. My blog posts have been well received in the past so I guess you guys enjoy them too so this year I thought I'd do the same.

** Disclaimer **
As always, this blog post is not intended to come across as a "showing off" or anything similar. I realize how lucky I am. This post is just sharing some of my wonderful gifts with those of you that enjoy these blog posts.

The first present I was lucky to receive and was pretty massive (hence no photograph). Were two wooden planters from my mum and her boyfriend. Complete with bulbs for daffodils, tulips, stargazer lilies, snowdrops and many more beautiful flowers. I am so excited for these to start flowering so we can have some bright colours in our, somewhat, boring garden!

From S I got:

Funko Harry Potter and Disney Classic DVDs

From my sister, I got:

Self help books and Mrs Potts and Chip purses

From S' mum and dad, I got:

Soap and Glory, Queen ticket

And from my grandparents, I got:

Photo frame from Grandparents

I was also lucky to receive what has got to have been the most beautiful bunch of autumnal roses I've ever seen, from S' sister, brother in law and nephew. They were honestly stunning!

I also received some money and, haven't quite decided what I'm going to do with it yet but I did treat myself to an exclusive Funko Pop.. I mean, look at it. HOW COOL?!

Thank you to every single one of you, who wished me happy birthday. Whether it was on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. It honestly means the world.
